Building momentum

It's really important to remember that AI implementation doesn't end when a pilot is launched. In many ways, this is where the real leadership work begins. Once you have tested a use case, you need to decide what happens next. The best organizations make those decisions deliberately. They don't keep pilots alive simply because people like them, and they don't scale projects simply because the technology looks impressive. They look at evidence. Is the use case creating measurable value? Are people adopting it? Is quality improving? Are risks under control? Can the process scale across teams, functions, or regions? Do we have the data, skills, governance, and technology needed to support it? If the evidence is strong, leaders should give it the resources, ownership, and attention needed to scale. That might mean redesigning workflows, training more people, integrating the tool into existing systems and building stronger monitoring around performance and risk. If the answer is no…
