Common cloud AI challenges
- Working with generative AI systems to produce new content can lead to challenges that we may not be prepared for. Much of these obstacles also relate to how the newly generated content gets used after it's produced. One recurring problem with AI systems is the creation of data intelligence or content that is incorrect, but is presented as being correct. This is referred to as a hallucination. Hallucinations are typically inconsistent with the training data, but they can be related to model complexity and insufficient explainability. The use of quantum computing with generative AI systems can increase the likelihood of hallucinations. This is sometimes due to the complex nature of the algorithms quantum computers use. Hallucinations are especially problematic for generative AI systems because of the quantity of content they can produce and the difficulty in finding content that may simply be not true.
