- Let's start with a simple truth. A well-defined problem is half the solution. It's easy to rush into decision-making when there's pressure to act fast. A challenge I see in a lot of organizations that are rushing to implement some solution, even if it's the wrong one. But if you don't fully understand the problem you're solving nothing, not even the best data will help you. Think of it like using a GPS. If you don't enter the right destination, you're not going to get where you want to go. Defining your problem might sound basic, but it's surprisingly easy to get wrong. You might think your problem is we're not hitting sales targets, but is that really the problem? Or is it a symptom of something else like a pricing issue, poor market fit, or a lack of training for your team?
