Before we dive into the careers portion of this course, I want to talk about structure in wealth management from two perspectives. One, how firms are structured, and two, how the firm segments, in essence, structures their clientele. Now, there are three key ways that wealth management businesses will be established. One is as a line of business or partnership within a large bank, and all large major global banks will have them. Two, is as a small, medium, large company dedicated to wealth management, that's all they do. And three, as an independent practice run by a single person or a few partners, and these tend to be fairly local and regional.
