Formatting chord symbols
- [Instructor] Formatting chord symbols in a lead sheet or score is an important part of creating a professional looking document. Let's look at how to make this process go faster. So I've got the format chords start file open if you want to follow along. And let's click select the chord tool so that we can adjust the position of our chords. Now, one of the ways that we can do this would be to just click one of these handles and then drag it to where you want it to go. You can also click select it and then you can use your arrow keys to nudge it. And as you might imagine, the up arrow will nudge it up, down will go down, right will move the chord to the right and left will move it to the left. I don't use this technique very often because I want to ensure that all of my chords on a stave are on a straight line that goes across. So I could select all of these chord handles and nudge them all at the same time but…
