Finale playback basics
- [Instructor] I use Finale to notate lead sheets and scores and I use programs like Logic Pro, Ableton Live or Pro Tools to create recordings of my projects. That said, the playback in Finale is useful. So let's look at how it works and the available options. So I've got the woodwind quartet file open if you want to follow along. And let's go up to the Window menu and let's drop down and let's open up the playback controls and let me move these up here. Okay, so as you might imagine, we've got the typical playback parameters here. So we've got a play button, a stop button. We've also got rewind and fast forward, and also go to the end of the file and go to the beginning of the file. So let's go ahead and just click the play button and let's see what happens.
