- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to look at how we could export captions with our project inside of Final Cut Pro. There are a number of different ways that you can create captions even some directly in Final Cut through extensions. So if you do a search for Simon says this is a cloud based caption solution which would allow you to transcribe your videos directly from Final Cut and then import them into a project that you can reference. In our chapter 14 export captions project let's actually import some captions that I've created ahead of time for you. We can do this by going to the file menu choosing import captions in our exercise files wherever they're stored, mine are on my desktop. In the assets folder I'll go to captions and see that I have an SRT file. A very popular caption based format used on several social media channels. ITT is also a caption format that you can utilize.
