What you should know

For this course, you should be familiar with how to design, prototype, and animate within Figma design files. It's also assumed you are acquainted with native web technologies, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. The software we'll be using is Figma and Visual Studio Code. Figma can be acquired by visiting figma.com if you do not already have access to a subscription. The free plan can absolutely be used in this course. You just won't have access to Dev Mode, which is referenced quite a bit, if you're using the free subscription. Visual Studio Code is a cross-platform code editor that can be downloaded for free from code. visualstudio.com. Though I am using this particular editor for the course, you can use whatever you are most familiar with when editing for the native web. Many of the concepts and workflows we demonstrate in this course are applicable to many other platforms, even Android and iOS development.
