- [Tutor] At different times when you work with Excel, you may have encountered the word object. When Excel refers to an object, it could mean an image, a chart, a button, slicers, a lot of different visual features that we see when we work with Excel. And there is a feature referred to as a selection pane and think of it as a management tool. And I often think of it as something I could be using for presentation purposes. First of all, on the home tab, off to the right, in the editing group, you'll see a choice called Find & Select. When you click that at the bottom you'll see Selection Pane. And that description is see a list of all your objects. This makes it easier to select objects, change their order, or change their visibility.
