- [Instructor] Excel has numerous features and capabilities for handling date and time information. There's a number of functions as well as some keystroke shortcuts that are going to be helpful. Over in column A, I simply want to put in the current date. That's something you might do often depending upon the nature of the data that you work with. Instead of typing in a date, just press Control + semicolon. Now, at the time of this recording, it's October 27th, 2025. That's a static entry, it won't change, it's just a shortcut for typing a date. We've got one for time also. Instead of Control + semicolon, it's Control + Shift + semicolon, and that puts in the current time. And it's 12:03 here as I'm in the recording booth right now. Neither of these will change unless you specifically change them, either by deleting them or putting in something else. But there are two other functions rephrase, but there are two functions…
