(upbeat music) - [Instructor] In this chapter's first pair of movies I presented and solved a practice scenario for a transportation problem. In this movie, I will introduce a transshipment problem. We're going to continue working with Ginny's Biscuits except that now demand for Ginny's Biscuits has grown. So that means in addition to her three bakeries in the greater Mount Crawford area she also has three distribution centers. One of which shares space with the Mount Crawford bakery. And as before, the goal is to find the lowest cost solution to meet demand. To give you an idea of what the service map looks like. Here are her three bakeries in Dayton, Mount Crawford, and Port Republic. Here are her distribution centers in red. So those are in Harrisonburg, Cross Keys, and another in Mount Crawford that shares the same space as the bakery. And if we add her customers to the map in blue, we will see that she has a fairly…
