- [Instructor] Excel does its best to help you avoid and fix formula errors. One of the ways it does that is to display indicators and messages that flag and describe the problem. In this movie, I will show you how to interact with and manage formula error indicators. The sample file I'm using is 06_03 indicators, and you can find it in the Chapter 6 folder of the exercise files collection. The calculations in this workbook are based on the revenue data that I have in column E and in cell B3, which is currently selected, I have the sum of those values. Below that I have Sales Count, which is currently blank, and then in B7, I have a formula calculating the average per sale, but it shows a divide by zero error. So you can see divide by zero and also this green flag or indicator at the top left corner showing that there is an error. So I'll click cell B7 and I see that I want to divide the value in B3 by the value in B4, so I don't have one. And because this is a fairly simple solution,…
