- [Instructor] It's important in marketing that the ad that you show matches the audience that you show it to. But, doing this at scale can be difficult and time consuming, unless you know how to manipulate text in Excel. So, right here we have a ad builder that is typical of anyone who works in Excel to make ads, like I do. And, what you have here is the keyword, which is "cheap flights." And, then you have the headline, the headline two, and the description. Right here we have the number of characters, which we're figuring out, in this case, by the LEN function. So, if I just type in =LEN, and then close that brackets, you can see we have 27 characters here. And then we have 22, and then 80 at the bottom. So, we want to make sure that these are within the character limits. And, within Google, that would be 30. So, we'd subtract the length from 30, and then here we have 30 again. And, then here we…
