Segmenting your data with PivotTables
- [Instructor] If you're a marketer and you don't know how to use pivot tables, you're at a serious disadvantage. In fact, in my first marketing job, a requirement of passing the job interview was being able to make a pivot table. Pivot tables make it easy to do analysis on the fly, so let's walk through how to use them. The first thing we're going to do is click anywhere here in the data and press command A or control A and then we're going to go insert pivot table and click okay. So that gives us the pivot table, but there's nothing in it. And just to show you how easy these are, they're drag and drop. You can click the campaign and then just drag it in here into the rows and it shows you all of your campaigns. You can also drag across the cost in there, maybe the clicks as well. And you can also kind of change other things. So, if you wanted to add in campaign status, you could add that in and then just see the cost and…
