Concatenating multiple URL parameters
- [Instructor] In order to track the performance of your marketing campaigns, you need to add tracking parameters. Each campaign needs its own unique tracking, so adding these can be a pain unless you know concatenation. This is an example of a URL that has UTM tracking. You can see on the end here we have UTM source, UTM medium, and then UTM campaign. All these specifically break down to be the URL for the website that you want to land users on. The UTM source is the platform that you're running your campaign on. UTM Medium is typically the channel that the marketing platform belongs to. In this case, Facebook is part of social, because it's the social media channel. And then finally the campaign, UTM campaign. In this case, this was just a Facebook post and we didn't differentiate between different posts. So we are just using the word "post" here.
