- [Instructor] We're looking at a worksheet called Save. And let's imagine that I've put in some labels here, some headings in row one, column A. I've got some numbers in place. What happens if I turn off the computer by mistake right now? I've lost all of this, and you could imagine worse scenarios where there's lots of data; I've done a lot of data entry, and I didn't save my work. And that's a key idea as we work with computer software, and many of you're probably familiar with the concept, the idea that if you're working with data and making changes, you want to save it every five minutes or so. And really what we're saying here is we want to replace the older version of our save file with the latest changes that we've made. And when we go to the file tab in the ribbon and click file, you see two choices: save and save as. If there's ever any doubt about what you're trying to do, use save as.
