Work with chart and axes titles
- [Instructor] When you create a chart quickly in Excel one of the first things you're likely to do is to change the chart title. I'm highlighting some data from cells A3 over and down through G6. I'll press the keystroke shortcut Alt + F1 to create a chart. And there's Chart Title and I'll just type in the title maybe 1st Half 2020. We don't see the title just yet unless you're looking in the formula bar where it appears. Press Enter. We've got our title. And often that's the approach to take, but sometimes you get data from other sources. Let's say, the chart to the right doesn't have a title on it, or maybe you took it off, but the point is you can add it easily. Couple different ways to do it. The fastest way often is, once a chart is selected, take a look at some of the options available on the Chart Design tab, off to the left, under Quick Layout. With the column chart, you'll have nine different choices…
