What you should know
- [Instructor] This is a practical course and we'll be using Kali Linux-based tools to do testing, and we'll be using targets in the Offensive Security and Hack The Box online penetration testing labs. Where possible, I'll use the free subscription targets in these labs. But some of the more complex targets will be in the main labs. You should be competent in Windows and Unix host technologies. A good understanding of HTTP and the SQL language would be an advantage. You'll need to have a good working knowledge of Kali and some hands-on experience of testing. You should have a working knowledge of web testing tools, and you should have taken the Ethical Hacking: Web Servers and Applications course. And if you've taken the Advanced Web Testing course, that would be an advantage.
