- SoftPerfect have produced a freeway network scanner which provides a wide range of network scanning and enumeration across the network, including WMI, SMB, SNMP, amongst other remote services. I'll use this to do some network scanning. The tool is available as an installation and portable download from the SoftPerfect website. I've got this downloaded already, so let's have a look at it. Okay, I've selected the IP address range 10.0.2.1 to 10.0.2.20. Let's go to the Options tab and select Program Options. I'll click the Workstation tab and make sure all the options are selected and the Ports tab and we'll select Ports 1 to 1024 and all the UDP ports. In the Shares tab, we'll enumerate all. And in the Applications tab, we'll make sure computer management and remote desktop have both been checked. Let's open, in the Options menu, Remote WMI and mark all.
