- When you're in an office, it's easy to control and predict the type of circumstances people will be surrounded by, like cubicles and office chairs in a meeting area. But when you're at home, everybody's circumstances are different, which is why you need to account for that in your work from home policy. Let's go into some circumstances that people might have. Your employees might be parents and they have to pick kids up from school at certain times. Kids might be homeschooled, right, and you have to account for those learning sessions. People might be taking care of loved ones who need special medical attention.
