- [Narrator] Now that we understand the foundational elements of an ESG scorecard, let's create one. Remember, there is no single way to put together an ESG scorecard. They're a way to translate the ESG framework into a quantifiable analytical tool to support more informed decision-making. As the ESG framework evolves though, and as disclosure requirements continue to become more robust, financial analysts will have to think critically about material issues and modify their assessment tools accordingly. It's for this reason that we've taken less of a prescriptive approach to designing our scorecard, and we're instead asking you to think critically about the process in order to inform your own analysis and ultimately your own professional development. For this exercise, you'll step into the shoes of a financial analyst that covers food and beverage businesses.
