Adding text callouts to the Visio Visual
- [Instructor] In addition to color by value, you can visualize data in your diagram by adding text callouts. For this exercise, you can continue with the report you saved in the previous video or open Product Data Report_START 02_03. Begin by selecting the Visio visual and adding the Description field to the Values section of the Configuration pane. The name of the field and its value automatically appear in the default location on each shape. To configure this new text callout, open the Field Mapping pane and open the section for Description if it isn't already. You can show or hide the label for the field. I'll hide it. Change the horizontal and vertical location of the text. I will center it below the shape. Change the font size and color, and show or hide a border for the text. You can display more than one text callout for each shape in the diagram. Let's add Quantity to the Values section. Once again, Power BI applies the default positioning and formatting, which we can adjust.…
