- [Instructor] So now it's time to talk a little bit about of types of artificial intelligence, and we can kind of, you know, group this types of AI into four different groups. Being the first one, reactive machines. This is the most basic form of AI that is going to respond to a current situation without using past experiences, you know, to inform decisions, to like inform decisions. An example of this was the IBM Deep Blue, the chess playing computer that I mentioned earlier. It can identify pieces in the chessboard and then make decisions based on that, but it doesn't have a memory to use with the past moves for, you know, future plays. Then we have limited memory. This is an AI that can use past experiences to make decisions in the moment. This, of course, will allow you for more complex tasks. There are some capabilities on this, like most AI systems, like a self-driving car for example, can fall into this category because, you know, the self-driving car observes the environment…
