- It's really important for us, as people of color, to understand how society impacts our understanding of ourselves and how it can shape us as individuals. Now we've talked about this before. There are a lot of things going on in society that impacts our success. They could be structural biases, implicit associations, feelings of imposter syndrome, or even internal factors of trauma or even issues of things at work or at home.
