This advice may run counter to what you've heard from other people or counter to conventional wisdom. But I'm going to say when you are first starting out, you don't actually need a flashy website. You can have a presence online that is not a website. You could have a presence on social media or on a blogging platform or some other place, and then you just need a way to take payment. Eventually, yes, of course, you will need a company website, but keep it simple. You can have a one-page website. It simply says what you do. We are this who does this for these people who want this? Without that and then a way to contact you. By the way, the simple formula we do X for Y people who want Z without A is a brilliant copywriting formula that can be used over and over and over again in ads and emails and coupons and conversations, you name it.
