The time has come and you did it. You made a sale. Yay! Here are a few things to remember about a confident close. Once they say yes, stop talking. Take their information. Get off the phone. Get out of the conversation. They've said, Yes, it's over. I have seen people unsell just because they get excited and start sort of nattering on and then they overwhelm the person that they're selling to and all of a sudden the sale falls apart. So once someone says, yes, terrific. I'm excited to start working with you. A sale is not a sale until the contract is signed and the money is in the bank. Next, after the deal is closed, you can give them an extraordinary experience post-purchase. Even if people are buying online and they're not having an in-person conversation with you, they've just found your product or service, they've clicked, they've put it in their cart, they've bought it.
