Transparent communication with cybersecurity partners

Cybersecurity is a very complex industry. It consists of humans and problems, both of which require transparent communication. To make sure that you're communicating transparently, there are three qualities to prioritize. The first is clarity. To ensure you're providing clarity, consider the perspective of your audience, especially if they have a different technical background than you. For example, imagine managing a working group focused on a particular cybersecurity initiative. In this working group, you're covering cybersecurity content and program initiatives with stakeholders who may not work with these concepts in their day-to-day. So when we're trying to explain these complex cybersecurity problems to a wide variety of people with varying expertise, we have to consider what might be unclear to them.
