- [Instructor] The next tool is the vignette tool. It is so important to control the light in an image to really help the viewer look at exactly what you want them to look at. The more I become advanced as an editor the more I grow as a photographer, the more I'm controlling light. Deciding where I really want to direct the viewer's eye. The vignette tools the basis for that, that's a great way to start and Snapseed has exactly the kind of vignette tool you'd love to see, so let's take a look. The vignette tool's at the bottom left corner, go ahead and select that. We're gonna have our up and down, right, outer brightness, inner brightness. I'm gonna start by doing outer. If I slide to the left, everything gets dark on the outer and if I slide to the right everything gets brighter. I could also control from the inner, I could brighten the inner or I could darken.
