- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to cover several detailing methods to customize letter forms. So let's jump right into it. It's going to start with the flatbed scanner because the typography that I hand lettered for this movie I had done manually by hand. And so of course I had to scan it in and then that gave me the TIFF images that I could image trace. Now I'm not going to go through the process of image tracing these, but the principles I'll show in an upcoming movie will cover all of that. And you can give this a try, if you have access to the exercise files yourself. But after image tracing it, I would end up with my vector art as shown here. Now this is a lot of anchor points, so I am going to show you once you image trace something you might have an absurd amount of anchor points. Sometimes they can be extremely absurd.
