- You wouldn't bake a cake for the first time without a recipe, would you? The same goes for roadmap planning, their ingredients and processes. How do you start? You'll need to have a clear vision already in terms of where you are aiming to be. Review the vision. You will need to identify four to six key themes. I'm strongly suggesting that 10 may be too many themes, or you'll need a sizable team to deliver such a large transformation program. Common high level themes fall into culture, infrastructure, customer service, and data, and you will need to state your aim for that theme. Let's look at customer service. The theme could be end-to-end customer experience and the theme tagline to help explain it, making it easier to engage with us, providing excellent services to everyone.
