How to establish goals for your digital marketing

- When you start a journey, you need a destination. And in marketing, that destination is your goal. But not all goals are created equal. One of the biggest traps in digital marketing is chasing what we call vanity metrics. And vanity metrics are numbers that look impressive on the surface. They might make you feel good, but they don't actually tell you anything meaningful about your business's health. Think about things like the total number of likes on a social media post, or the number of followers you have, or the raw number of page views on your website. Sure, big numbers can seem nice, but do they directly translate to business growth? A million page views is useless if none of them convert into customers or leads. So to set goals that truly matter, you have to move beyond surface level numbers and connect your marketing efforts to real business outcomes.
