SRE, other frameworks, and the future

(electronic music) - Of course SRE doesn't sit alone in being a framework for tackling organizational challenges. It sits alongside other initiatives and other frameworks that you and your organization may be embracing. So I'd like to position SRE accordingly. I'd also like to touch on how SRE is an evolving movement, and like a lot of these movements, has a number of areas where it's beginning to really add value. So we'll explore some of those ancillary SRE topics, as well. First of all, we know SRE isn't the only framework that your organization is facing. A lot of organizations have, in recent years, been embracing agility. Agile is great for unifying your business with your development teams. The concept of having a business person, such as a product owner, being highly visible and present with a delivery team has brought a range of benefits.
