- It's easy to assume that working in an environment without conflict is an enjoyable and productive place to be, but often that isn't the reality. Healthy conflicts at work can spark debates helping people to consider alternative perspectives, often resulting in teams pushing the boundaries of what is achievable. Creating environments where people can respectfully challenge ideas, perspectives, and opinions creates a healthy culture. When working with others, the key is to manage conflict in a positive way, and this is where emotional intelligence comes into play.
