- On the 6th of July, 2005, a fun-loving young professional woman called Martine Wright went out with her friends to celebrate a special event that had occurred in London that day. 'Cause on that day, the 6th of July, 2005, London had been awarded the Olympic and Paralympic games for 2012. It was an amazing moment, I remember it, I was in London at the time. So she went out after work and she parted. She parted hard, actually, she probably parted just a little bit too hard. Because the next morning her usual routine was not slightly, she didn't catch the train she usually catch to work, she had to catch a later one. And unfortunately, on that same train on the 7th of July 2005 was one of the terrorists who was involved in the 7/7 bombing attacks in London. And as a result, Martine was caught up in that and her life changed irrevocably.
