Set the scene

- Imagine two offices. One is well lit on the 40th floor of a high rise with modern furniture, a futuristic clean desk and floor to ceiling panoramic windows providing an expansive view. How does standing in that office make you feel? Now imagine standing in a dimly lit basement office with no windows and a glaring fluorescent overhead light with a desk that looks like it was dropped down a flight of stairs. The feeling and mood is quite different in this office. The point is where you set your scenario makes a difference. You need to determine the places most appropriate for the scenario you are creating. Do you need images of an office or a factory? Do you have two characters having a sidebar conversation in a hallway? Are you creating a scenario about rescuing someone from a burning building and need appropriate images? These types of decisions need to be considered as you are designing and planning your scenario.…
