What you should know
- [Instructor] Here is what you should know before taking this course. Please let me emphasize that this is an advanced course. In order to be able to apply what you learn in this course, you already need to have a background in statistics, both descriptive statistics as well as regression analysis. It's helpful to have a basic background in healthcare, such as having done healthcare projects or having worked in a healthcare setting. You also need to have experience working with datasets and know how to manage data. Finally, although this course is not focused on a particular software, such as SQL, R, SAS, or SPSS, it is really helpful if you understand what it's like to use that type of software. This course is intended for those with advanced experience with data who want to take it to the next level and leverage their data to answer research questions and do hypothesis-driven analysis.
