You're in charge of everything that a search would turn up. Control your online profile. Today's job hunting landscape is complicated. Recruiters and hiring managers can easily search for information about you. Make sure that an internet search of your name doesn't turn up anything that might be negative or misinterpreted. If it does, you should take whatever steps you can to remedy any images or narratives that could harm your reputation. But a lot of your online information exists because you've put it out there. It's content that you've provided. If you're an active job seeker, you probably have profiles and resumes or bios in a number of places.
