- [Instructor] Let's talk about managing devices, the third quintessential pillar of administering Azure AD. In the previous chapters, we covered users and then groups. Now we'll cover devices. Here's a high-level overview of the device management strategies available in Azure AD and how it compares to existing strategies we already have in on-premises environments. The most common way of managing a device on premises is to domain join it and apply Windows Server Active Directory Group Policy to it. That's how most organizations do it. If you want a more advanced solution, then you use System Center Configuration Manager in addition to Group Policy. You can have a proportion of the management distributed across these two solutions based on your requirements.
