Troubleshooting EtherChannel bundles
In this lesson, I'm going to walk through some steps that you can use when you're troubleshooting issues that might evolve with Ether Channel Bundles. Now to start off with, it all starts with how your configuration is, and again, what you're going to want to do is start off with the fact of making sure that your member port settings are the same on basically your local switch as well as your remote switch. So basically it starts off with just make sure that the member interface is in the appropriate L2 or L3 operating mode and that the interface is then associated to the port channel interface appropriately. Now after you've done that you're going to configure your port channel settings underneath the port channel interface and that will put any necessary settings underneath the member interfaces that are required and if there's some settings that just stay within the actual port channel that's fine it'll take care of that as well.
