In this lesson, we're going to talk about how we build out the static EtherChannel bundles and verify their online connectivity. So to start with, the process for configuration of an EtherChannel bundle is going to involve setting your member interfaces either at the appropriate Layer 2 or Layer 3 settings. So if it's going to be Layer 3, you would just go into the port and type in the noswitchport command. Now, after we've done that, we need to go through the process and associate the member interfaces to the port channel interface. And so, what we'll do is we'll go like int gig 01, and then we'll run the command channel group. We'll assign it the ether channel ID and type mode on. And then what we'll do is once we have at least one interface on both sides configured, we're in good shape. Again, you can add in your interfaces.
