- [Instructor] Finally, we get to documenting your operating system dependencies for cloud migration. Here is the goal that you have for this. The reason you want to have all your applications use the same operating system is because older operating systems that your application might depend upon are not available from your cloud service provider. This could be one of the biggest sticklers you have for a particular application, whether it's able to move to the cloud. It's a great idea for your wellbeing in the future after your applications are migrated to the cloud, to have some consolidation and standardization of what operating systems are used. It's kind of like your company standard operating system.
