- [Instructor] In this course you've learned about the way in which Defender works and how by leveraging the anti-malware scan interface, other tools such as PowerShell can protect against malicious scripts. We may want to remove Defender, and in this course you've learned how to do that. We may also want to leave Defender active, but disable AMSI, and you've learned a couple of techniques for doing that also. However, there are many techniques developed for AMSI bypass and most are by now obsolete. You've seen how we can use obfuscation to try to defeat Defender, but the best way to keep on top of AMSI is to stay current with changes to bypass techniques through ongoing learning.
