- Now that you've done your clip level adjustments, the next thing to do is start working between the tracks. So you want to balance the VO between the actors and then balance those voices against the net sound and then the music against all of it. How do you do that? You do that by working at the track level. And that's really what these meters here are for for working at the track level. And that's true on the edit page as well. On the edit page, you're here working at the track level whenever you're in the timeline, but when you open up the mixer, and let's say on the VO we start pumping that up like that, Well when I come up to the Fairlight page, that VO has lifted up as well here on the Fairlight page, and we're adjusting the overall mix of the voiceover compared to everything else.
