From the course: Data Visualization for Data Analysts and Analytics

Moving from analysis to visualization

As a data analyst, you probably work with and think about data every day. I'm sure you're already consuming charts and graphs to glean insights from your data and communicating it to audiences, but maybe you feel like you can take your visualization to another level. In this course, we'll talk about the most important things to think about when visualizing data for your own analysis and for sharing data with an audience. We'll look at how human visual perception works, key strategies for visual analysis, and lots of tips for communicating effectively with visuals. I'm Bill Shander, I'm an information designer and educator. I hope you find this course fun and interesting and, of course, helpful in your day-to-day data analysis practice. Let's get started.
