Too often, sales professionals believe they need to buy expensive tools to find new data about their prospects. There's no need for you to fall into the same category. According to research done by Forbes in 2023, an estimated 4.9 billion people used social media across the world. It's also no surprise that 77% of businesses use social media to reach customers. So a great data source tends to be what you find about companies and people on social media sites and on their company websites. In this lesson, I'll teach you how to find free sources in order to assist in your data collection process. If you find that you have no previous notes or outdated notes, a great place to start is with a quick Google search of the company or person you are trying to contact. Be specific and use boolean operators in your searches.
