FigJam for card sorting
- [Instructor] Words can be tricky. How do you know the right way to describe an action to help people find what they need? You can use a tool that's called the card sorting method. I'll walk through using FigJam for card sorting, a method to help you uncover insights into how customers think about the terminology, nomenclature and categorizations associated with your product. This can be so helpful in creating easy to understand information architecture for your customers. There are multiple varieties of card sorting that you can practice. A closed card sort only includes terms that you provide for the participant to categorize. An open card sort starts with a completely blank starting point. The participant doesn't get any predefined terms.
