- There are countless types of sensors to measure the world around us, but we often need to bring that sensor information from the physical world into the computer realm to analyze and process and really make use of it. And one of the best tools for doing that is a systems engineering platform called LabVIEW. I'm Barron Stone, and I've been using LabVIEW for over a decade as an engineer. In this course, we'll use LabVIEW to interface with National Instruments data acquisition hardware to acquire and generate different types of analog and digital signals. We'll cover core concepts you need to know to capture signals and how to implement them in LabVIEW code. We'll also explore how to connect LabVIEW to third-party measurement hardware from other vendors.
