- [Instructor] All right, so building or updating your portfolio, it can feel a little overwhelming. You sit down, you open up your files, and then suddenly you realize you have work scattered across folders, platforms, and maybe even old hard drives. So that's why that first step to creating a strong, polished portfolio is getting organized, and the best way to do that is a content inventory. So think of a content inventory as like a blueprint for your portfolio, it's where you take stock of what you've done, you identify what's missing, and map out where you want to go next. By the time you're done, you'll have a clear picture of your work, and it makes it so much easier to showcase your best projects and then identify and fill any gaps.
