There's so much noise in the media today, and your brand voice is one of your most important megaphones. Your brand voice is your identity in the market. In this lesson, you'll explore how to articulate your brand's unique voice and ensure it's reflected in all your content. The first step in defining your brand voice is defining your brand values. If you already have your brand values set, you're already ahead of the game. If not, have no fear. Your brand values are four or five lights that help you lead the way. They're the core guiding principles your company utilizes to ensure every touchpoint reinforces the brand in some way. A few examples of popular core brand values are transparency, authenticity, loyalty, and respect. Your brand values should be present in things like communications to your audience, especially content marketing efforts, but should also be apparent in the way your company addresses its employees too.
