- It's time to create your mood board so your authentic style leaves a lasting impression. Remember, a mood board is essentially a visual representation of you. It's a collection of images that show who you are, what you like, and should feel like you. To get started, decide what message you want to convey. List 10 words that best describe you and consider words that others frequently use to describe you. Choose five words from this list that resonate with you the most. You'll be using these words to find images for your mood board that best represent you. So take time here. Later, you'll use these images to help the photographer capture those words in your photos.
